A hole in the world

In the article "New Energy in DC" by Naomi Klein they discuss the need to discover cleaner energy. It also discusses the cause of this sudden realization is the BP oil spill which put tens of thousands of oil into the Gulf of Mexico. Klein also describes how President Obama fought with the BP organizations to pay $20 billion dollars to those who suffered in the oil spill. The article also describes how peak oil which is imminent is coming soon or has already arrived.
In the article "A Disaster That could change everything" it discussed that President Obama's attention is more to making the adults happy since they are the voters. It also discusses how the white house was low balling which means offering a price for less than it's worth with the BP company. The wealthy people are basically those who gave Obama money for his campaign and control the government. The article also discusses an incident in 1984 where thousands of people in Bhopal were killed by a toxic cloud. Even though there were many deaths the company didn't really get into steep trouble, they only had to pay a SMALL FINE.
In the article "A Hole in the World" by Naomi Klein It describes how BP had a conference with those whose oil spill affected their livelihood. BP tried to explain that everything was supposed to be safe and that they were going to fix everything. But since the oil got into the marshes which is space in the sea where the fish lives it can't be removed. This would therefore cause problems with their catch to make money. So this ultimately caused them to distrust the BP Corporation.
